Blog Tour

Hi Everyone

I'm so excited to tell you:
"I was invited on a blog tour."

My invitation came from JoAnne At A Pocketful of Blue.
Blue is my favorite color and I was instantly drawn to her pretty blog.
Check out her beautiful home and how she decorates using soft blues.

Look how pretty her kitchen is.  I love the cabinets, wood floors & the large window.
I love how she adds her  personal style with the objects in the open cabinet and the touches of blue all around.

JoAnne also has a talent to transform furniture with paint.  She painted this little table that sits just outside her Master bedroom.  Look how cute it turned out.

I LOVE her style of mixing blues to decorate her home.

JoAnne and I share something else beside loving the color blue.  We both have a kitty blog boss.

Stop by JoAnne's blog  A Pocketful of Blue to see more of her pretty home, craft ideas and her cute blog boss.

Thank you JoAnne for inviting me on the tour!!

Now it's my turn to answer FOUR specific questions about myself

#1

WHAT AM I WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?

Well for now I am enjoying the summer spending it with my husband and daughter on the boat or at the beach.  I've been getting our house ready for a summer tour and will be sharing some road side finds that I plan to paint and use to decorate our home.  I'm also working on more summer craft projects.

#2

HOW DOES MY WORK DIFFER FROM OTHERS IN THIS GENRE?

I add my own personality to my work and decorating style.

                                                                                               #3

WHY DO I WRITE/CREATE WHAT I DO?

I have fun creating and writing about what I do.  I love sharing my ideas with other people in the hopes of inspiring others to create.  I enjoy reading other blogs and I love to see how other bloggers decorate their homes.

#4

HOW DOES MY CREATING PROCESS WORK?

Most of the time my ideas just pop into my head.  For example I turned  a cardboard box into a planter/ storage container.  That thought popped into my head when I looked at the shape and structure of the box.  I am always thinking how I can transform regular items into something useful.
I also like to create with my camera.
I'll see something and I'll think "how can I make this picture look interesting."
Most of all my creating process comes from feeling joy at what I do.

Now this is the part where I introduce three bloggers to you.
Two of the three lovely bloggers had to decline, but I still have one terrific blog for you to visit.

Karie's Chic Creations

When I found  Karie's blog I immediately fell in love with her craft ideas and her warm and welcoming way of decorating.

Here is a small peek inside her lovely
craft room

Karie's blog is about sharing her beautiful creations, her style and her life.  She is a mom, grandma and her family is her number one.  She loves to sew and scrapbook and has created a lovely space for herself to share all her ideas.

  2. Such inspiring blogs! Thank you ladies for sharing your creativity. We just bought and moved in to a century-old home this past January and there is so much to do. We're not even sure if we will make smaller changes (sell and move again) or make bigger changes (and stay for awhile). But I love reading blogs like yours for inspiration! ;)
