Simple Strawberry Tart

in , by Julie Nichols, July 13, 2016
Do you love strawberries?  I do, they remind me of my grandmother.  When I was a child my grandmother and I would go strawberry picking.  We'd bring home the sweetest strawberries and she would make these simple yummy tarts that always made my mouth water for more.

INGREDIENTS:

1 sheet puff pastry
2 cups sliced strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2.  Using a cookie sheet roll thawed puff pastry sheet on parchment paper
Add the sliced strawberries
Sprinkle sugar and sea salt over the top
Fold the edges in the form of a nest
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until edges are golden.
