My Favorite Farmhouse Mirrors

When it came time to decorate the guest bedroom I needed a mirror to hang above the dresser.

If you remember my design plan for the guest bedroom it included a round mirror. In the six short weeks to complete this makeover the mirror that I was going to purchase would not arrive on time. I ended up using a yard sale mirror that I purchased over a year ago.

All this mirror needed was a refresh with a dark walnut stain. I applied one coat to the wood. For the decorative metal, I used gold metallic craft paint. I opted for faux flowers instead of fresh ones simply because I could not remove the floral foam.

And here it is, looking like new in the GUEST BEDROOM

I searched online and pulled together a collection of my favorite mirrors that are hot on the market today!

  1. Love the mirror you decided to use! I think it's a better choice anyway. The starburst is pretty cool, though. Have a great holiday weekend!

  3. Love the mirror, it looks really nice! I think that I like it better then a round mirror because it's different, and I don't see that shape of a mirror very often.
