This petite tea set was given to us by my mother-in-law who lost her battle to emphysema 3 years ago. We miss her very much and she will always remain near and dear in our hearts. Over the years she has given us many lovely gifts. This one reminds me of her the most.
Green was her favorite color and she never missed wearing it on St. Patrick's Day.
I used a collection of beach glass, a wine bottle, and a Christmas ornament
to make a casual display of green.
The Irish linen and the tea set were gifts she brought back from a trip to Ireland.
The linen has embroidered shamrocks and lace trim

Hi- visiting from Amaze me Monday. That is such a sweet tea set and even lovelier that it came from your mother in-law. What a sad disease to die from- I lost a cousin to it about 6 years ago.
