Hyacinth

by Julie Nichols, April 21, 2014
HELLO

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Yesterday I noticed this pretty Hyacinth in full bloom just outside my kitchen door.  I love the way they smell and thought It would add a fresh scent to my workroom that I share with my kitty.

I placed it in a small jar and set it on my window sill

Enjoy your Monday!

  2. I love the way they smell also. They are rather cumbersome in the garden though and tend to tip over. I think they are best by the kitchen door so you can pick them just as you have done. Why waste all that luscious smell?

  10. Hi Julie - blessings to you and so glad you shared this with All Things Bright and Beautiful! I've had the same thoughts about my lilacs - stunning just off my deck. Tomorrow I am planning to clip a couple clusters to bring into the house - but I have to be careful or I'll be sneezing all day! They are here and gone in no time at all. Photos are wonderful for keeping them fresh year round. Do plan to share again at the end of May!!
    Joy!
